Certificates may be withdrawn due to critical non-conformities, major non-conformities that have not been remedied within 90 days of notification, or failure to comply with the surveillance audit schedule (organization of the surveillance audit within one month of the certificate being suspended for failure to comply with the audit schedule).

Economic operators whose certificate is withdrawn must appear on the website for at least 24 months after the date of withdrawal.

When the participation of an economic operator, or its predecessors, in 2BS ends with the withdrawal of its certificate following an audit that has confirmed a critical non-compliance, the other voluntary schemes may refuse the participation of this operator for at least two years after the withdrawal of the certificate.
