Fees

Over the last few years, 2BS has considerably increased its certification offerings, to open up new markets, and its services, to facilitate the certification process.

To continue to support our customers, maintain the quality of international certifications and continually improve our standards and procedures, all 2BS certifiers must pay an annual fee to use their certificate.

Annual fee

This fee is payable annually on the anniversary date of your company’s certification.

2BSvs fee - biofuels

OS (Organisme Stockeurs - Coopérative ou Négoce) 950 €/year
Processors
up to 2,500 sustainable t530 € up to 2,500/year
between 2,501 and 10,000 sustainable t1000 €/year
between 10,001 and 100,000 sustainable t3,060 €/year
if more than 100 000 t sustainable6,600 €/year
International traders/exporters of biomass or biofuels 3,800 €/ year
*For processors, membership of one of the four volume categories will be based for the 1st year on a self-assessment of sustainable volumes produced. Certification bodies will have to verify the 2nd year.

ADD-ON - SAI FSA fee

SAI FSA Silver Europe equivalence (applicable to agricultural cooperatives and traders outside France) 150 €/year

What our fees cover

As a not-for-profit association, annual fees cover the costs of developing our tools, using the 2BSvs certificate, remunerating employees and handling our certification offer.

Tools

In addition to certification, we offer a range of free tools to make the certification process simpler and smoother. These fees support the development and continuous improvement of tools such as the 2BS Mapping Tool and our GHG calculator.

To be able to access the European market as “sustainable”, you support our efforts to develop, recognize and handle the various 2BS certifications.
